Prescott Bush Mall provide 56 homes with a preference for elderly and disabled residents. These balconied studio, 1- and 2-bedroom units include a bathroom and living and dining areas, and some are compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Uniform Federal Accessibilities Standards (UFAS). Elevator service and off-street parking are available. Parks and restaurants are accessible.
The development was converted from the low-income public housing program to project-based rental assistance under HUD’s Rental Assistance Demonstration Program (RAD). The sources of funds include 4% LIHTC and Moving to Work and HUD Capital Funds from Elm City Communities. The total cost of the project was approximately $4.7 million. Censere coordinated the project from conception to closing.
